Prophetic Dream Spell
The Prynce
This spell may be performed at any time but for best results, it may be done on a full or new moon or on Samhain.
Materials (All are not needed. Use all that you can find):
Sachet or Cloth that can be tied closed (preferably purple or blue), up to three small peices of amythiest, one finger of clear quatrz (optional but good for strengthening energies), mimosa, cinnamon, thyme, willow, dandelion, celery seed, jasmine incense, sandalwood incense, silver thread.
Start by blessing and purifying all of the materials. This may be done by smudging them with thyme, holding them in smoke from burning thyme, or holding them in the smoke of sandalwood incense. As you do what-ever method you chose, imagine the materials being engulfed in a clean, pure, purple light and focus on your wishes of prophetic dreams.
After cleansing and purifying all of the materials, put all of the herbs that you collected into a small bowl and grind them together (use a mortar and pestle if you are able). As you grind them, release energy from your body and send it into the herbs.
Once the herbs are ground, hold the amythiest peices in your hand tightly and charge them with energy for prophetic dreams. Envision them glowing purple with light in your hand.
After that is done, hold the finger of clear quartz in your hand and visualise a purifying white light pouring out of it and into it. Charge all crystals until you feel they're done well enough.
If you used sandalwood to purify the materials, put that stick out and get two more sticks of sandalwood and one or two sticks of jasmine (unless you are using cones, of course. In that case, use your censer and cones instead of the sticks and burner.). Light them and place them in your burner.
Next, put all the ground herbs into the sachet or cloth, followed by the amythiest and then the quartz. If you used a cloth to be tied off, use the silver thread to tie it. If you used a sachet, close it as it is made to close and then wrap the silver thread around it just above where all of the materials inside come to and end and then tie the thread into a knot.
Wave the sachet or pouch in the smoke of the incense and say:
"Into the land of dreams I creep.
I shall see the future as I sleep.
I will see things yet to come.
As I will it, it will be done!
So Mote It Be!"
Take the sachet or pouch and rub it on the third eye chakra (the forehead and the area between the eyes) while focusing on your energies. Place the sachet under your pillow (or sew it into your pillow) and go to sleep. As you try to go to sleep, meditate on your intent and see purple light. I know most do not reccomend meditating into sleep, but it may be best in this case.
Leave the sachet under your pillow until you wish for the prophetic dreams to end. Here's a few tips. Keep paper and pen beside your bed so that if you awake, you will be able to write down the dream right away. Otherwise, it will be very difficult to remember. I also find it best to drink at least one bottle of water just before bed as it will make you have to use the bathroom in a while after you go to sleep. Once you start dreaming, if you have to use the bathroom, it will make you more able to wake up on your own. Other than that, you may want to do a spell to help you remember dreams before and after this spell.
